Muir Pass full 360 pano with the venerable 18-55mm VR kit lens on D90

Full 360 degree panorama from the top of the Muir Pass hut
Approaching Muir Pass from Wanda Lake - 18-55mm VR - there is no trail - it's just the direct line up to the pass left behind by Pacific Crest Trail hikers who came from the other side and went down the shortest line.

Looking north from Muir Pass down onto Wanda Lake. The line in the snow is approximately the John Muir Trail, but you don't know until the snow melts some time in August. 18-55mm VR on D90

Another perfect day is fading
Leaving Muir Pass to the south - this is right ON the John Muir Trail, although you can't see the trail Again 18-55mm VR, also for the last shot. Great little lens for a DX body.

Approaching Helen Lake, frozen on July 22
Well down into Le Conte Canyon, trail becomes creek, and the snow is deep. 18-55mm VR
