The terns were minding their own busyness and showing signs that they might court when the oystercatcher chick walked along.
I saw more interesting bird behavior at Nickerson Beach this past Saturday morning that I usually see in a year. It was a wonderful 4.5 hours spent on the beach and I hope you have been enjoying the photos I’ve been sharing from that day. I’m still processing though getting close to finished.
nickerson + morris = winning combination! watching birds on their breeding grounds really is the best. it looks as though you walked away with some nice stuff, and some nice stories to boot....
