In fact, it's Oregon's McKenzie River as it tumbles out of the Cascades Mtns.
The rules for this annual float trip seemed to (unofficially) include drinking as much beer as you could before you fell into the river.

A friend took the "float parade" one year and said that at first he felt self-conscious about peeing in his swimming trunks- but with all the water splashing around most of the time- he soon adjusted. Plus, it made room for more beer .
