Harsha: Thank you. I haven't posted in quite a while, but when I've been on I've viewed your images -- very impressive.
Jim: I think you're right about getting in front of the tree, but it was about halfway into the hike, and at that point, I wasn't about to walk into the stream (or try to sit on the log). If I had known that later I would have been in up to my calves crossing another stream, I would have tried it. Then again it was quite windy and cold, with a long way to go. And If I had been with you, I KNOW you would have walked in, and I might have followed.
Stan: I really enjoy this area, and have come to know when the conditions are right - it's a struggle sometimes, but it really can be a very pretty area.
Ute: Thank you. Good to hear from you too. I'll send you an email an update on Colden, who at 2.5 will easily hike 2 miles, much of it running. A good omen for future shooting -- now, if I can get him to carry some gear. : )
