Tiffany was awesome to work with, always cheerful, expressive and wonderful personality.
Outside in the June gloom at venice beach...its neither sunny..nor cloudy...
Taken at JDPW with JM. Day 2 of the workshop, goal was to shoot outside with 1 speedlight and any # of modifiers.
1 speed light in beauty dish
1 reflector at the bottom (in some of these)
The learning continues. Looking for all constructive criticism, feedback, tips...
The first one seems pretty soft to me, not quite liking it. The others are great shots, but I would love to see shots at different areas instead of just on top of a post.
I like #1. The incongruity of the girl dressed all fancy and walking compared to the guys in the background I think is very interesting. I like the way you worked the lighting in the rest of the shots. I would clone out that OOF person on the right side in #3. Then in #5 fix the upper left corner and clean up the edges in it. My favorites of those is #4 and 6, those should go in her portfolio.
I love this set despite the series having been taken in the same spot. I agree the first one seems a bit off focus and noisier than the rest of the lot. I especially admire the controlled lighting despite a seemingly harsh light. Your model is lovely, seems tall and proportionate and has a spectacular skin tone. If it was a first experience for her she should do more modeling, i see great potential here.
Du très beau travail, superbe contrôle de la lumière, Bravo !

You are correct, it is soft. I posted the wrong file. I only had 15 minutes with her so I managed 2 locations in that time. Hopefully i can reconnect with her on another shoot.
