Been out using my car as hide to shoot barn swallows again and I found another Redshank in a nice environment.
Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome.

Good job on these, Chris! I like that nice gradient in the bg of the swallows.
The pose in #5 is my favorite
Yup, in #6 looks like the bird is trying to decide whether or not to jump from a trampoline

A terrific set, Chris.
I really like those head-on looks at the swallow- such short beaks and HUGE mouths. Perfect for catching flying bugs.
Most of the birds look a bit soft on my monitor. Curious- have you sharpened them in pp?

Super set Chris. It's funny I was looking at the swallow and comparing it to the ones we have when it hit me. These shots are so good I'm using them for a field guide, I guess that says a lot! Excellent job on the exposures, the swallows look marvelous. I'm still chuckling about 6 What a cool shot. The redshank on the post is nothing to sneeze at either. Overall a wonderful set and joy to look at.
Nice set Chris, these crazy swallows like to make nests on our summer home under the eaves. They are hard to discourage from building where you don't want them. They sure are a pretty bird and so fast. Don.
