Here are a few from the Pow-Wow we attended on Saturday.. One, or more images are slightly out of focus to add the sensation of movement.. Any comments & suggestions are appreciated... Thank you, Jim

All that was announced was that dancers and drummers from Washington, Montana, Oregon, Idaho, Canada and beyond, representing many nations were present. Glad you like them.. Jim

Nice photos. Love the colors and tone in the image.
Thank you.. Considering this was my first Pow-Wow, my first time using this lens indoors, and my first time shooting in a school gym with horrific lighting, I was pleased.. Jim

very nice. especially like the ones where you were on the floor with the dancers.
Thank you... It took me a while to build up the nerve to go to floor level... Signs stated floor level was for "Dancers, Drummers, Elders, and special guest".. I finally told my wife that the worst they could do was tell me to leave. I mean, usually if you look like you belong there, nobody ask.. And I was carrying my Canon 200 f1.8 which makes anybody look like they know what they are doing... ...

I wouldn't have posted #3 it just isn't sharp enough to be a keeper.
Thank you. As noted I intentionally posted an OOF image to convey that feeling of movement.. It was intentional, and was not meant to be 100% perfect... Jim
Jim- A really good job with a really difficult shooting situation.
The first is super- just the right amount of blur and her face is in sharp focus and you caught her arms in the perfect position.
The last two seem to have a green/yellow cast to them on my computer.

Thank you Charlie... You are probably correct on the color cast as the Gym was lite with Mercury Vapor, Incandescent & Fluorescent light. Jim
