I wanted to share one last picture from Iguaçu Falls in Brazil.
The light was incredible that evening and I was feeling the pressure to capture what I saw.
I was able to get a faster shutter speed for this one and because I didn't use any filters, I closed down the aperture to f/13 to slow down the waters.

Fred,
Don't know which shot from here is my favorite!
But this one is definitely worthy.
The shutter speed is just right, with the energy still apparent.
Thanks for posting

I certainly like this better than the portrait one on featured thread.
Beautiful light all around and great balance between the two falls. Makes ones eyes just jump back and forth ! The contrast between the blue sky and the red sky does exactly the same.
A super image, Fred.
I got down to Peru- but not any further south- so I missed Iguaçu Falls.
At least I've been able to enjoy it through your photographs.
Thanks for that .
Charlie
Superb, Fred. Besides the things you did right here, you forgot to mention that you waited for the perfect moment of the day, the most crucial decision.
Love the red, white, and blue Fred. This is a great shot, I love the last light of day shots because of their mood, and this captures that feeling perfectly. Very nice!
