This display greeted me this morning when I awakened and looked out at my back yard. Yesterday it had 2 blossoms but this AM it exploded in this colorful array.

Based on the size and shape of the plant I doubt it is an Echinopsis sp. It isn't a tall columnar-shaped. It's more squat cluster of stems with the tallest of the cluster being only 10 inches
. More like an Echinocereus sp. I don't remember who gave it to me. It may not even be a local species.
