Sun-lit-red-sandstone cliffs illuminated the algae-covered rocks under the surface of Wet Beaver Creek. (and yes! there is a Dry Beaver Creek not far away) I was surprised by the effect the cliff light had on the submerged rocks but not on the dry boulders which were lit by open sky. Hmmm... Thanks for looking.

Hey Steve,

Using reflected light off of canyon walls is a wonderful tip to get some color reflecting in the stream or lake. Nice work here with this one.

I think Peter Lik sold a print not too dissimilar from this one a few years ago for $1M USD. Maybe you'll get lucky and find an equally ambitious buyer! Very nice picture!
