Kind of hard to tell with the small size pics but to me a few of them look like they could use some correction for purple fringing. It's easiest to spot in one of the pics from your blog post in her shoe straps (the pic with the sad face), but also here in #2 in the foliage across the top and I think her dress straps and his white shirt. I'm guessing that you could see them on some of the other images as well if they were enlarged a bit.
I have to use the de-fringing tool in Lightroom 4 on most all of my wide aperture 85L shots. I just dial up the settings until the fringing is gone and paint away the effect with a local adjustment brush on any areas where the results don't look right.
There was just an article in the paper yesterday that the cost for a couple in the US averaged over $ 1100. I think when I went almost 50 years ago it was closer to $ 100 or so.

Sandman22-Thank you. The car does not belong to them, Unfortunately, I don't think I'm skilled enough at Photoshop to remove it without making it more obvious. Any suggestions?

Mpking-I always seem to overlook fringing (don't know how-it can be so obvious). I haven't attempted to correct it yet, but I did upload larger images for easier viewing. Thanks for the comment and pointers!
DaveOls-Yes, Prom can be quite an investment. Couples probably average about half of that in my city, but my sister (pictured above) was able to drastically minimize the cost by having our mother make the dress.
