p.1 #1 · Camera cleaning in SF bay area

Anyone have any experience or know of a good place I can get my cameras and lenses cleaned in the bay area? I would like to avoid having to send everything to Nikon (have a lot of gear). Thanks in advance!

Keeble and Shuchat?

http://kspphoto.com/

I think they help with service repairs and such. Would be worth a call for sure.

I would hate to involve them with camera cleaning. Their new department sucks. If it could be done through the used/rental dept that might be more interesting (much nicer guys from what I have seen).

We used to have Kamera Korner, but that place closed a few years ago. Not sure of any others.

Not to be a wise ass, but what do you need that you can't do yourself?

I think Sammy's does it for $50.

thanks for the replies guys - I'll check out Sammy's.

Sam - I have some dust on my two D3s sensors that the self cleaning didn't get rid of. Would rather let someone who knows what they are doing clean it as opposed to messing with it myself.

I've got sensor cleaning brushes. It just takes a quick wipe or two and finished

I live in San Jose and would be happy to show you how to do this. As a professional you must take the time to learn how to do this yourself. You may need to clean your sensor at any time.

I check my sensor before every outing just like charging batteries and cleaning all the lenses.
