I went to Iceland at the end of March and blasted around the ring road. Amazing place, I want to go back already.

A couple favorites from Jokulsarlon. CC welcome.

Terrible... Absolutely Terrible! I can't believe you would post these...

They are cool, but they just seem like they are missing something that would really make them pop.

The second one, I wish there was less of that sky and more of that fantastic water. Your horizon is about dead center. Without being there, I have no clue if there was something your were trying to avoid? Also, did you move to your right any? Get that sun a little closer to the ice, then may be you could get a little tighter crop on the ice?

How tall in the air was your tripod on these?

I like the wings one.

How long did it take to get around the ring road?

If you went back how many days would you want to go for to do it again?

Hey Joshua,

That must have been a fun trip. #2 is my favorite, I think add a bit more contrast to it, though it looks pretty cool. Brad mentioned about the horizon on #2 being centered, perhaps you wanted to keep as much of that background color in the sky as possible, but I think a crop off the top a bit would work well, or maybe you have a few versions where you composed it slightly different.

And don't take no comments as a sign that no one liked the shot, we have lot's of people who just lurk and don't comment. And with the regulars who comment, sometimes we get busy so the commenting can come and go. The best way to make sure you "get" comments is to take the time to "give" comments to others.
