One early morning in South Dakota, I was awakened by the sounds of a trillion meadow larks singing.
Nothing to do but get dressed, grab my camera, step out of my camping trailer, and take a picture of the lovely scene to the east.
At least all the damn singing didn't show up in the photograph!

I was one of only a few campers in the remote campground, and the light was quietly spectacular. When all else was totally quiet, it was amazing how loud the birds were.
