Took this one in Maryland about a year ago. I woke up early to catch the sunrise and found some surfers out there doing their thing along with a bunch of seagulls.

It's a nice shot. Getting some more details in the surfer might be cool, otherwise opting for the full blown silhouette will also work. Great image!

It's properly exposed, just the surfer is in a black wetsuit. Kind of a hard shot. Great composition, wrong subject.

Ahh ok. That's what I figured. I tried to look at the head but I thought he was dark skinned and also wearing a wet suit. Sweet image!

Yep, he's in a full wetsuit. Also, the side of him that's facing the camera is the side that's away from the sun, which was still close to the horizon, so it was mostly in shade.
