Hey, Ken. These succeed because of the story-telling aspects- and your narrative.
You're missing a financial bonanza by not "harvesting" all that moose poop .
In Alaska they dry the turds, string them together and sell them as "Moose nugget jewelry."

Interesting set though I hope you don't start a trend with your poo shot!

A fun set Ken. Not many here willing to post such a sh&*ty shot as 2. The skull is neat, and the info interesting ~ Ron

Many thanks for having a look and commenting Ron! If it was a really good sh&*ty shot, I'd have been a lot happier.

Nice series, Ken; all the more so with your commentary. Looks cold!

Thanks Greg! The temp probably went from 18C down to about 6C while I was out. Cold front came in part way through the day.

Nice set there Ken, Did you have a taste of the chocolate M&M's? lol.

I really like #1, nice, natural shot.

due to the little cup That's good aim from that high up!

Nice shots Ken and some interesting commentary to go along with it. I have seen sapling broken in the same fashion, it really is amazing how many trees they can mangle and there still be a forest! I enjoyed the set and I hope you enjoyed your hike

Tim

Thanks a bunch for commenting Tim. I did enjoy the hike. Got a few decent photos, saw more neat nature stuff, and fit a good deal of calorie burning into doing things I like. The downside? I was exhausted and wet by the end. Feet were like prunes! My boots now smell like a fetid swamp, and I may have to dispose of them.

Dang! I thought those were coffee beans in the cup I guess the warmth of those 'beans' formed its own cup.

Ken, I would be thrilled to see a Moose, lucky you! I enjoyed the story and would have enjoyed the same outing, the bleached out skeleton is rather cool.
Congrats on your 'Morris' influenced image, kind of freaky

Karl

Thank you kindly Karl. Those steaming beans created their own cup, probably mostly from the sun heating them up some time after the deposit was made. And thank for commenting on the Morristype. I enjoy looking at the patterns and colors in images like that. Must be my secret desire to be non-conforming.

Holy smokes!! I'm heading back with a wheelbarrow and some helpers. That 16K of trail probably had about a tonne of moose droppings. Next, I'll have to figure out a market for the buffalo plops. Too big for jewelry (unless you are a rock star or pro athlete). Thanks for the kind words Charlie.
