Loving this lens so far.

So far these are just basic processing in DPP.

I've got an Italian car show next weekend and car photo's is where the Zeiss 35/2 really shines so I'm looking forward to seeing how the Sigma compares.

Couldn't be more than that! Using a 1D4 with a 1.3 crop...I would say in between 1-2 ft.

That sigma 35/1.4 makes me want to go back to fullframe dslr.. Just hard to get that look on a mirrorless crop atm.

Might sound as heresy, but some photos look a bit like if they are shot with Leica or modern Zeiss (something between, just bit less than original, but still more than any other ordinary lens). If you get what I mean..

Love the plumeria!!! Both shots seem as if they are jumping out of my screen! And that on an iPhone 4S....
And I agree with uzay-this lens is very,very good wide open at mfd!! I think at mfd the Sigma can give some excellent pseudo macro shots!
In fact, I think my copy is almost as sharp WO at mfd as my 50MP is at same distance WO!!!
