I had a little welding project to do and since I never shot any welding before, I though it would be a good time to experiment. So, I set up my tripod and my D600 to a 20 second timer and here's what I came up with.

It would be MUCH easier shooting someone else while they are welding, but you gotta do what you gotta do

Shot with a D600 and Nikkor 105mm F2.5 lens.

Nicely done. I see no motion blur. Everything looks sharp and the spark trails really set this off.

Does the D 600 do interval timing pictures. You might get even better results with multiple pictures. I really like the colors.
