I photographed these oyster catchers as they did there mating dance on a warm March afternoon at Nickerson Beach, Long Beach Island, New York. It was 39f out and this felt great as our weather was warming and the snow melted on contact soaking me and my equipment. It was very relaxing alone on the which is what I needed after taking medical tests earlier in the day. I’m happy to say the tests said I’m normal, though some might question that.
