I decided to blow the dust off of my old Yashica and go out shooting some Tri-X. These were taken at Makaha Beach and Kaena Point State Park on northwest Oahu.

Hi Timothy,

#1 would be my favorite, but the blown out splashing water takes the shot down a notch or two. #4 is my next favorite, I think the Palm Trees in the shot help it out a lot. But for the other 3, the compositions don't do much for me. The foregrounds are lacking in interest.

#1 not so much for me. The last four have some potential I think with a slight shift of the comp to the left or the right. I get the feeling from these that there's something just out of sight that would make the image. Oh, and the horizons in #2 through #5 needs some serious adjustment.
