I would take it any time. Imagine not IS and NO TRIPOD.
And the most interesting possibility: PP: one can selectively sharpen different areas of the images and to different degrees! so no more expensive fast lenses!

I assume that you still use film, and always focus manually, and do all your processing with chemicals in a dark room, given your rather hostile attitude toward technological advances....
I'll never understand why "purists" (meaning Luddites, IMO) so superciliously reject new tools. I understand skeptical attitudes until this is proven, but outright rejecting new, useful tools actually doesn't make you smarter or better than those who are open to such things, you know.

I wonder if this feature will be useful for panning shots where you didn't quite nail the panning speed, and you have a simple one dimensional pixel blur that it can recover.
