Trebarwith Strand at sunset, digital photography allows you the opportunity to experiment freely with shutter speed to find the sea patterns that work most effectively. I was particularly struck with the feather like patterns of the sea that mimicked the overlapping undulating layers of foreground rocks. Taken with my 24mm tilt shift I was able to combine two images to give a square aspect ratio and also increase my pixels for printing large. The 24mm lens is a much more vulnerable bit of kit as it has a lot more mechanics but I got it back into the rucksack without any trauma despite the crashing waves.
