Trebarwith Strand at sunset, digital photography allows you the opportunity to experiment freely with shutter speed to find the sea patterns that work most effectively. I was particularly struck with the feather like patterns of the sea that mimicked the overlapping undulating layers of foreground rocks. Taken with my 24mm tilt shift I was able to combine two images to give a square aspect ratio and also increase my pixels for printing large. The 24mm lens is a much more vulnerable bit of kit as it has a lot more mechanics but I got it back into the rucksack without any trauma despite the crashing waves.

Very nice! Its good to see the square "Hasselbladesque" format again. Two exposures in spite of the erratically moving water! You are brave. I would have talked myself out of it. Good that you didn't. Thanks!
