Stopped by the park while passing through the area. The wind was howling. Made it up near the top of the dunes in 50 MPH winds, getting pelted with sand. Luckily, my gear survived. Here are a few pictures:

Hi Nick,

#1 is my favorite followed by #3. Though I do like how you captured the sun in #4 also. Good job, I definitely need to stop by there. I have driven by not too far from there several times over the last few months but haven't stopped, I think that needs to change!

Nice. Place always has high wind in winter. Amazing place to shoot though. Just gotta be willing to deal with getting sand blasted.

Edited some other photos from that trip back in March. Too bad the park is closed now, I wanted to go there this weekend.

I really enjoy these and had been hoping to be up there now - dunes and sandhill cranes not far away. With a full moon this weekend it could be a great place to be if the Park was open!

The B&W processing works well in dunes I think.
