Hi Venkidesh,
Thats a pretty grunge treatment to this one. The bright leaves on the right are distracting...and the water is too bright for me. others may like it differently.

I like it because it is done differently.

I think a slightly shorter shutter speed would have lessened the blur of the stream and given it a better feeling of movement. ID also suggest a polarizer for the reflection off the leaves. It's a good composition that needs a little tweaking IMHO.

I like the composition. Very nice. It looks too contrasty. Try toning down the contrast ?

It's a cool looking creek, but I with Sunny, the leaves are too bright and the water has lost too much detail. Using a polarizer would have cut down the reflections. In a place like Hawaii using a polarizer is pretty much of a must. And then using a faster shutter speed, say 1/5th of a sec or so would have allowed for water movement in the scene to give a bit of a silky feel, but it wouldn't have allowed the water to go all white which then helps it to feel to bright as you end up with a shot with all these pockets of white.

Now as Sunny said, some may like it, but for me it's a shot weak in the area's mentioned.

Great Feedback. this is exactly what i was looking for. The shot was taken 4 years back when i didn't know much about composition and other aspects. I will spend some time on PP to see if i can incorporate the inputs.. Thanks

I agree the photo is great but needs some tweaking. A polarizer would be good, shot when the clouds were their heaviest and then a lower exposure either in camera or in RAW as long as the file was not blown out. Worth the effort for sure.
