bought myself a 500mm VR, first real outting with it i drove down to Minnesota to my one of my favorite eagle haunts to test it out
1)

6) kind of impressed with the VR as this was 1/80 ss handheld

today round here, spring refuses to show but, the noisey poop machines are moving back in so i guess spring is coming, some time, but snow is predicted for tomorrow, my second outting

Great set, Brian, and impressive sharpness on that 1/80 eagle. The noisy poop machines are kind of attractive as well!

Great set. That 1/80th shot looks pretty sharp to me.

Is it just me or do images posted on this site look brighter and crisper than on our other hangout?

Thanks Mark,
since posting at the other our other hangout i have now bought the lens, on my trip into Minnesota i MA'd the lens so hopefully that is accounting for the crisper images
