Hello all. I'm new here having stumbled across a link on Reddit a couple of days ago, so I wanted to make some form of introduction.

Anyway, this is Bridal Veil Falls in Dupont Forest in North Carolina. It's rather easily accessible but it doesn't get near the traffic that other waterfalls in the area get due to the other falls requiring practically no effort in comparison. Toward the top there is a small trail that bypasses the slippery rock and goes right to the edge where it's trivial to duck behind the water.

Nikon D600 with a 16-35mm f/4 at 16mm. 1/10 at ISO 50.

Kendal, interesting shot. I like the comp. and the almost black white tonality of it. The falls rim looks weird with the vertical inclusions,almost looks like it's dripping ink. Nice find. I think that most here will find this a little on the dark side. Though that is my area of comfort so no complaints from me. Welcome aboard and keep posting. Rick

I was there not long ago, but did not go behind the falls. Good work on this.

Welcome to the forums here and nice shot! Thanks for the description of the location as well. I've yet to get down to NC even though it is not that far. Some more motivation to take the time.
