From the Elwha Valley yesterday morning, after the previous night's strong storm that added significant snow at upper elevations in the Olympics. Snowfall will continue into early May with increased snowpack and accumulation for the year. Summer begins in late July/early August in the high country

Beautifully composed, Bob. I think the bits of green trees toward the bottom of the frame really makes the "tree frame" work well.

Lovely image you have there. When I lived in the Olympics it always rained on the 4th of July and summer seemed to start on July 15th and end on October 15.
