Arrived at the beach late this afternoon and was welcomed by this guy.

A first for me. Light not great , it was early evening, but had to try and sneak up or rather crawl through the sand to get a few shots.

Nits, cirts always appreciated.

You did well to get close to this one Birdie if these guys are anywhere near as skittish as their cousins over here. Very nice low angles and poses too.

Birdie, Wonderful shots and wonderful angle - the stealthy work and crawling definitely paid off. Lovely!
A question out of curiosity - is the haziness on the bottom edge on #1 due to shooting through grass or foliage?
Or result of depth of field?
