Nothing wrong with going wider, I much prefer 2 over 1 because of the fluffy thing blocking the bird in 1. Great job on the grebes these are marvelous!! Congrats on the Godwit IF, it looks great. There's just something about coots that make me smile, this one sure did!!

The godwits should get easier to catch once their eggs and offsprings are in the fields.
Some of them will come and check me out when I walk along their field.
The lapwings are much harder. They tend to keep just a little to much distance. Will need some luck.

#4 is really great, and there's nothing wrong with environment in a shot,
sometimes it's a big plus

Fine compo for the Bunting and a bird we don't get to see often

Don't recall seeing a Lapwing in the air so I'll take the crops

Hope you get more ops with the Godwits and the pose on your last frame is a wonderful way to close the series!
