Did a wonderful hike on the Eagle Creek Trail. Tried to get a intimate shot of Punch Bowl Falls but the water was too high. Settled for some other images. Was the warmest day we have had here in northern Oregon for about 6 months!!

It's hard to beat that little hike for continuous PNW rainforest beauty.

I like the colors on #1 but confused about the direction the water is flowing.
#2 is a beauty.

You are confused about which direction the water is flowing!!?? Understandable living in Phoenix!!

Just kidding. It is flowing from top to bottom.

Water color in #1 with the movement is interesting Mike and quite rich in hues. Looks like a flowing gold rush along the left side

#2 is a beauty for sure, vert comp works well. Is the water like this only from shutter speed or is there an effect also applied here? Looks oddly wonderful

Shutter speed ( ~.8 sec) contributed to the water's look but also adding some targeted contrast and structure, and a tad of parsley!
