The girl was alone- and lost in her thoughts.
I didn't want to interrupt her, so I just positioned myself and set my manual film camera and took one shot. Elapsed time about 30 seconds.
I immediately left and she was unaware of me taking the photograph.

Thanks Bob and Steady.
The girl had the freshness of youth and was pursuing her interest, so she was probably very content.
Well-dressed and trusted to be alone in the park- the weight of adulthood was still a few years away.
She was likely much happier than most of her countrymen.
