Another trip to Bolsa Chica with the D7100 today. Found the same pair of Kestrel hanging around the nesting area. They were really hungry.

So far, I love the pixels, the af, and the reach. I have no love for the noise and the tiny buffer. I guess I am spoiled by the D4... The FPS is ok and I can live with it. The buffer flushes pretty fast so it is not as bad, just wish it would hold around 15-20 shots before it is filled, heck, i even take 10-12. The noise is very apparent at around 800, not good.
It is at a very good price though. Can't really complain about it in its price range.
I will probably use my D4 for the majority of the time, unless there is a lot of light then I will wipe out the D7100..
