I like the effort, but it seems too red. Watch the hair covering the eye and back up a little as it seem tight. Those are just some of my minor nits. The one thing that bothers me in the picture is so much fly away hair catching all those highlights. Don't mean to be too critical, I like the shot in general.

The frizzy hair and skin tone (or white balance) issues detract.

It's a nice shot, but Steady and Greg are right. The hair issues are caused by the direct sun backlight and the flash not matching the sun's direct light. Look at the catchlight in her eyes and compare to the hot spots on the back of her head. This shot could be improved hugely by getting her out of the direct light.

I don't mean to be a putz here, but I'm curious what was exciting about this shoot. I'd love to see more shots from this session. This one is good, other than the issues noted, but I'd love to see exciting.

Thanks to all of you guys, constructive criticism always appreciated (and these were

I was a bit in a rush when posting so let me give you more info:
1. Exciting - my second portrait session ever, lovely young model, learnt a lot.

2. Skin tones - 100% agree, look ok at my monitor, just screwed up the JPG, will fix.

3. Hair highlights - was intentional, obviosly the pack does not like it, I will try different edit, I have some different exposures as well

4. As I mentioned, just a quick edit -will put some more soon. And ... do not pull back, if I wanted excited reviews -I always have Facebook
