A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to come across a River Otter family. It appeared the parents were teaching the pups how to catch fish in the ocean.
What a fun set Tony! A superb selection of behavioural shots. #2 is special, but each has a real appeal. There is something about otters that makes people happy.
#2,6 and 9. #2 is a real wall hanger although I would experiment with a tighter crop. #6 is very warm and #9 has that great look. Beauts, as usual! Don
A wonderful set Tony. Not only up to your usual very high standards, but cuter than h##l and just plain fun. The interactions between the kids stand out for me ~ Ron
Tony, Another wonderful series of great shots, and a cool look at the behavior of these cute little fishermen/women. Great to see, except when they're in the middle of my favorite trout stream and I can't catch a fish!
Well done Sr T, cute they are! Nice work on that wet fur look Nice catch on #2, very cool to see their paws and casual character as they sit and dine on fish!
good stuff tony. love the second shot that shows the freshly caught (and intact!) fish before its gets ripper to pieces! very high cute factor for the rest of the group.
Tony- No way I can pick a favorite; they are all utterly delightful!
Getting close enough to river otters for shots like these is a remarkable accomplishment- regardless of how the planets were aligned.
Excellent work, and more than a couple of laughs.
