Here are some images of Trumpeter Swans (first four images, taken last Friday) and Snow Geese (next four images, taken this Monday) from Fir Island, Washington. Both species have been gorging themselves, getting ready for their long migrations north. The snow geese will go to Wrangell Island, Siberia. The trumpeter swans will go to Alaska. All images were taken with a Nikon D800.
