Nice shots, Dave. If this Red Canyon is just south of Lander, I drove through it last summer. It appears much the same as I recall, looking from highway 28 (allowing for seasonal conditions).

Stan, thanks. Yes, you are correct--just south of Lander on Highway 28. I travel South Pass frequently, and it is different each time.

Dave; the last 3 are from my old home country, Iwas born about 10 mi.s/se of there
have been fishing incanyon crk. Many long yrs. ago, I think the last time I came up
out of there like a drownd rat, IT was raining.Theold barn was still in "fair shape"
a few yrs. ago. there were some sheep in the pen,green grass, Saw it last Aug. looked pretty forlorn... Scalawag

Scalawag, Very, very pretty in the Ten Sleep country. Not bad where I live on the west slope of Wind Rivers, but, in WYO, it is all nice, in its own way.

Very nice shots. Have been in that Lander country a few times recently, very pretty country. Travel Powder River Pass and Ten Sleep to Worland and on to Thermopolis frequently because of relatives. Again, very nice shots in Ten Sleep canyon.
