Thought it best to make the most of this weather before it's all gone.

Our youngest can sit by himself now so we went out and got a few shots of him and a couple of his siblings.

Below is a quick shot of my set up an Sb-900 speedlight into a softbox. In this shot it a bit more towards the camera as Hendrix's face was too much in shadow, usually I have it a bit more to camera left more a true 45degrees.

I liked this little spot I try not to shoot into an open sky with these kind of shots as it detracts from the subject.

Very nice - I agree about 1 & 4; but I also like 3 & 7. I think the bright highlights in the background of 7 & 8 detract a bit.

For as long as I remember I always wanted to name a son Hendrix.
Was even more rapt when the wife decided on Marley. Jethro was a last minute decision we had two weeks before he was born and couldn't decide on one. I think he makes a good jethro.

Thanks for taking a look mate.
I have a reflector at home and sometimes say to myself I should take it out, but I have gotten used to this setup and it creates good results so I just go with it.

I have a shoot in a couple of weeks with a young lady and there will be a horse involved so I might take the reflector. Never shot a horse before so not sure how the flash will impact it( anyone with experience to share)
