The Sigma image quality is remarkable, but I went through four copies and each exhibited unique focus issues. I ended up with the paying $300 more for the slightly inferior 35L, but I have peace of mind. After struggling one year with D800 focus issues, it is refreshing to once again shoot (two 5DMK3’s, 35L, 50L, 85, 135L) paying attention to composition and not fiddling with gear.

I also had AF issues with two copies of the Sigma. Right now I don't have a 35mm prime at all. I have a 24-70 II, 50L, Sigma 85 and 135L. I'm considering trying the Sigma 35 again now that the Sigma docking station is out. Perhaps that will help?
