NEX series get blasted (mostly rightly) for its okay to poor lenses (w.r.t other mirrorless systems) and most of images here seem to be with ALT lenses. We even have looong threads dedicated to ALT lenses on NEX.
So I thought it would be interesting to see what okay to poor lenses can do?
So please share images taken only by NATIVE E-Mount lenses.
Sebboh, Great Images an example what a so called bad lens can do in creative photographers hand In general your threads and posts on NEX is one of the main reasons I came back to NEX system
jotdeh I liked the last one.
Jordan, I did not know you have NEX + 24 I was under impression you are totally into m4/3. Not to start another OMD vs NEX but how do you find both cameras in handling ?
As I mentioned, I had the NEX for a week for review...I do not own one. Handling wise, I much prefer the OM-D...I never took to the NEX-7 for some reason. Image quality wise, I found them very close.
I also was impressed by the 50 OSS, although I found it a poor match to the 24 in rendering (and also some handling issues, I didn't like how the focus-by-wire behaved on the 50, it's fine on the 16 and 24)
I've also owned the 18-55, but never took a shot with it (in fairness, I also had the A mount DT 16-50/2.8 SSM at the time and own an LA-EA1 adapter, so I had little need for the 18-55)
Here are a couple of shots with the 55-210 E lens. These were taken last summer at Cannon Beach, Oregon. It was a drizzly, windy day at the beach. Good spot for photographing though.
