I was in full camouflage, so the barn owl had never seen me. He heard my shutter, looked down my lens hood for five frames and then turned slightly away to continue hunting.

Wonderful bird and great capture. Maybe a bit of NR on the BG might help. You were really pushing the ISO. These are great images of an owl almost never seen in Canada. Hard to pick a winner, ?#6 is excellent. There must be at least one for the wall here. Congrats. Don

Impressive work with the high ISO. 3 and 5 are my faves, and love the pose in 7. Great work!

I gotta figure out what the trick is to get owls to fly towards you, they're always flying away from me.
