Here is a little mix from some events I shot over the last couple of weeks. Camera was the Canon 1 DX, and lenses were one of the following; Canon 70-200 2.8, Canon 135 2.0 and Canon 85 1.8. C&C welcome.
Thanks everyone for the looks and comments, On the lighting....I have to say that from some reason this year...whether they replaced broken lights or whatever...these gyms have not been too bad....and the other part is the DX addition which has been a fun experience.
For shots 11, 12 & 13....these were i a brand new gym and the electrical contractor was probably a photographer because this place a pretty sweet for a HS. I think these were at ISO 3200. Everyone loves shooting in this place.
Frank: Nice stuff! They all look solid, I thought 3, 8 11 and 15 are especially nice. The DX does really help in those dark gyms. What AF case do you find yourself using for the different sports.
Ben....I pretty much have been sticking with Case 4 with no additional adjustments. And the downside is since I got it back in September....I've been so busy at the day job with regulatory inspections, audits and being on the road a lot...I haven't even had time to read the various publications associated with the camera.
Things are starting to slow down for me that now I can really start to focus on playing around with with the various settings to see what it can really do.
