Love this little lens! Great for extended hikes. Much, much lighter than hauling around a 24-70.

First [email protected] on a full frame, last three wide open on a 1.6 crop. Overall, prefer full frame because it it closer to 43mm diagonal of frame size 'dead normal" FOV:

An excellent lens for the price and size. It renders bokeh decently and it is sharp, even at minimal focusing distance.

Based on this and another thread, ordered this lens on ebay ($146 shipped) and it's the best $146 I've ever spent. Looks like a toy, performs like an L. Doubt I'll be seeing much of my 35/2 anymore.
Will post when it stops raining. If anyone is on the fence, you can't go wrong.

As an L prime owner.. no comparison since there isn't an 2.8L prime!

At this price, bring it and use it everywhere!
