Really? You are probably fairly new to FM, because it has been done literally dozens of times each in several sub-forums. Take a look at the profiles most users have. Mine is a while out of date so I have more cameras and lenses than that.

I haven't seen anything like this yet, so let's do one. This is a gear thread. Post the gear that you have. Bonus if there are pictures.
Canon 7D
Canon 70-200 f/4 non IS
Canon 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS II
It's not much but I'm proud of it. Does what I need it to.
You get a pat on the back. In all honesty the only thing that matters is what output you produce with the gear. What you want is a proper portfolio you can be proud of.
Does it bug anyone else when someone uses "gears" for plural? When "gear" is used to refer to equipment it is plural without the "s", as in: I have a lot of photographic gear. Or, "Let me show you my many pieces of photo gear." On the other hand - if referring to actual machinery gears, the "s" is appropriate, as in: "I took apart my old Canon film camera, wow, it is sure full of little gears."

I explained this to PetKal, and he responded by putting gears into his avatar!

Yep. We've certainly been around the block many times on the gear vs. gears debate. Peter is an unabashed agitator. Go Peter!
