Thought of this challenge as I was eating one of theses "California Cuties" today. One of the best things about winter.

This among some others I saw yesterday got me inspired to practice more. I like this one a lot because of the popping color. Also it made me realize that photo opportunities are everywhere. Not just on the playing field, or in a remote forest or a beach front, but in my kitchen even.

Thanks for helping me realize that.

My goal for 2013 is to practice shooting new subject matter, not just the sporting events I cover.
