Pardon me if I'm wrong, but refurbs have a 90 day vs 1 year warranty for new.

The sale went almost a week. I waited and waited because I wasn't sure if I wanted to get new or save a few $$ and get a good used one. Now $1,799.

FYi everyone, I contacted amazon and told them I missed their sale and was wondering if they would consider honoring that sale price. To my surprise they accepted. They told me they would do it this one time. All I needed was to purchase it as it was and they would refund the difference. I did just that and two days later they did refunded me the almost 300.
I received my 5D Mark 2 today
