Awe inspiring, definately inspiring, wasn't sure If seascapes count, and its really not my best shot, but I waited to get this and it was fun to watch, and long ago as it was (summer seems long ago now) I still remember how hot it was.
Wow, inspiring and amazing images everyone. You all make me want to take a drive out a dirt road somewhere with my camera...I need to make more time to do landscapes! I'm primarily a people photographer, but here is my favorite landscape of 2012. This was taken in a remote area of the Grand Canyon during monsoon season.
Don't feel insecure about posting your ONE best. It's entirely your personal opinion. These are not being graded, negative comments have no place in this thread! It's just about showing your stuff.
Merry Christmas - from July in Mt Assiniboine Provincial Park (BC just south of Banff National Park). This is my favorite spot in the rockies after rising out of my tent for a brief sunrise.
Wow, tons of awesome photos in this thread. FM-ers are a true inspiration!
Hard to pick just one from 2012 from a total 19 photo trips I took (about half of them in-state) but I finally settled on this one from La Push, WA, taken on 8/8. I was waiting for a break in the clouds which never came but an awesome "blue hour" showed up instead which was just as good - maybe even better.
