Yes the Townsend's was most cooperative, shot at 300 on a full frame. He must have like me. The rainbow was cool, just had to wait a few minutes for it to drift into place 4 They can be intimidating. Not sure about the muddy guy, I asked the rangers but they weren't much help Yes indeed it is a beautiful place, we didn't want to leave and have been talking about going back ever since. Thanks Bro, I sure had fun taking them

I know they didn't totally go extinct but the last shot reminds me of the opening in Jurassic Park where they see the dinosaurs for the first time around the river...it would be pretty cool for me to witness bison this way.

Eric there are vistas there that blow this stuff away. Entering the Lamar Valley from the western side is absolutely stunning. You really need to go there sometime. I like the Jurassic Park comment, quite fitting.

Thanks so much Mark! Funny thing, I saw lots of birds but only took photos of a few, I was too taken with the big quadrupeds
