Here are a few from a recent family shoot that I will deliver in the next day or two but I thought I'd open them up to some last minute C&C. I haven't done that many family shoots and I'm trying to get better.
I like them. I would not give the last two because they don't have the same feel and are not as good(to me). The only other thing is that I'd have the entire couch in #2 and have the family off center in the frame as opposed to dead center.
Great session! The third to last is a little cool to my eyes (compared to the remainder of the session), and as Jim said, the last two should come out.
I really love the last one. Such an innocent moment and the B/W just comes out really nice here very nice series. third to the last I would bring down a little but I am not big on blown out. The second to last seems to be processed very differently and does not fit with the set in my eyes.
Thanks for the critique. The main thing about the second to last one is just that it's much darker than the bright feel of the others. I think I'm just going to brighten it up and see how it looks.
I love the last one too, yes it is different then most of the others but still a really nice capture.
I like the standing family shot, the one with the little up side down on the swing is cute but would have been stronger without the hand chop.
3&8 are a little bright or my taste but are still very cute shots. I am sure the family will be delighted with this set.
I love the poses and the overall set-up. Several of the shots seem about one-stop over-exposed, blowing out some of the details in the face, shirt, shorts, etc. Still, a very nice group of images.
