p.1 #1 · Omaha Skyline - Pedestrian Bridge

Went and did a little recon work tonight around the The Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge between Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA tonight before the "re-lighting" tomorrow. The top of the bridge was struck by lightening shortly after it opened and has been dark since. Tomorrow the new lights will be turned on.

Beautiful shots. I like the last one the most (it is typical of the timing of all blue hour / nighttime shots that I love).

Pedestrian Bridge? Nice - clearly there is a need but it is surprising to see the scope of the job for a foot bridge.

Very nice series overall. I really like them all, but #'s 2 and 4 stand out to me. Excellent work.

It was a federal pork barrel project. Its 1/2 mile from end to end and the first pedestrian bridge to join 2 states (Nebraska and Iowa).
