Peter: Really nice job, great colors. White balance looks awesome and the colors really pop! Lot's of long lens shots (300 & 400). Are you shooting over the glass or thru? Thanks for posting.
Agree with everybody else. Bright, crisp, sharp, not over exposed. Great job. Looks like he was using a D3S. EXIF says with a 400mm. I don't know that's right, but thats what EXIF says
1,2,3,7,8 I have taken from the photo spots in the stands and 4.5.6.9 from the photo boxes at ice level. In Sweden we do not have that kind of small holes in the glass available in venues in North America. Here we have photo boxes between and beside the team benches so photographers must wear a helmet during matches when we are at ice level.
I use the Nikon D3s with Nikon 200-400 f4 and the Nikon D700 with Nikon 70-200 f2,8 VR. ISO varies between 2000 and 4000.
